Bal à dur

"Bâl à dur" plays lively European folk music with lots of buttons and strings for dancing!

Balfolk are circle, line and pair dances that are danced to live music. 

No previous knowledge necessary, joy of movement is enough.

Ursina Kappenberger: organetto, accordion, violin, voice, composition

Lucius Schubert: guitar, mandolin, voice, composition

Baldur Stocker: double bass, voice

Since the spring of 2021, Lucius and Ursina's paths have crossed again and again in funny places. But the spark to make music together jumped   at the "Tanz im Moos" in September 2021.   Since then, the two have been rehearsing _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-13_bad.cf Baldur also joined the Tanz im Moos with the  Aussage: 

«If you ever need a bassist...» 

  It can go that fast, on October 16, 2021 they played the first ball in Ins and it was a bombastic evening!

Then the 3 thought it would be even better with percussion and brought Flurin (Ursina's brother) on board.  Am  Weekend of 21-23 They celebrated their premiere on January 1, 2022 and since then they have been shaking the balfolk scene from Seeland to Eastern Switzerland!
